Permissions, Accreditations, and Memberships
In accordance with section 94874 (f) of the California Education Code (CEC), Los Angeles School of Business meets requirements for exemption from Act regulation (1). The Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) is part of the Department of Consumer Affairs and is a consumer protection agency. BPPE exists to protect consumers and determines whether schools comply with consumer protection laws. Los Angeles School of Business, an institution offering non-degree educational programs for total charges of two thousand fine hundred dollars ($2500) or less operates under the provisions of the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009 (CPPEA), Article 4 Section 94874(f) as an exempt institution. The Act is administered by the Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE).
